Our PSAP gets very slow in the winter. Dull, dull, dull. Summer is a different story. When the tourists come to the Cape, it's usually mayhem. I've learned to fill the dead time with online training, re-reading SOP's, EMD cards and a few other mind numbing things. We have an extensive library in an old cardboard box, shoved up under a desk too. A mystery spy thriller is always a good back-up plan.
